Ingredients:
- 1/2 Wintermelon (around 500g)
- 4 cups Water
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- Ice Cubes
Instructions:
- Cut the Wintermelon into small chunks, removing the skin and seeds.
- In a large pot, bring the water to a boil.
- Add the Wintermelon chunks to the boiling water and let it simmer for about 20 minutes until the melon becomes translucent and soft.
- Turn off the heat and strain the Wintermelon pieces, reserving the infused liquid.
- Discard the Wintermelon chunks and return the liquid to the pot.
- Add the brown sugar to the pot and stir until it dissolves completely.
- Let the Wintermelon Tea cool to room temperature, then transfer it to a container and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to chill.
- When ready to serve, fill a glass with ice cubes and pour the chilled Wintermelon Tea over the ice.
- Stir well and enjoy your refreshing Wintermelon Tea!
You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar according to your taste preference. Additionally, you can also add toppings like tapioca pearls or a squeeze of lemon for extra flavor.
